Employed

I currently have two jobs and I realized this morning, that one of the things I should be grateful about regarding both of them; is that their responsibilities stay in the building. I don't have to worry about leaving either one of them, only to return to it hours later in the evening after everyone is in bed.  It's a good thing too, because there are other things to tend too.

However, in my realization, I thought about how many pastors, senior and associate alike, who are responsible for their church positions, but aren't in a personal financial position to stay out of the secular work force.

And I thought I was tired.

Pray for pastors and their families trying to lead a church while remaining employed in the work force, whether by choice or necessity.

Pray for financial blessings as well as strength and stamina, that they would be able to successful balance the myriad of responsibilities and tasks that they are faced with.

Pray that grace would abound; that the church would not suffer as a result from time spent on "someone else' clock" and their families would not suffer from time away, spent on providing for the household while providing for the Kingdom.

Pray for supernatural strength and energy, for however long they should find themselves in this position; that God's plan and purpose would be carried out for His glory.
