Mt. Zion Church bus accident

One of the parishioners at Mount Zion Baptist Church in Georgia posted the following request on one of the group pages in my social media newsfeed. This request has been posted with his permission and you can read the news article here. 

I would like to ask everyone on here for prayers. My church lost an amazing member of our youth on Thursday, and we still have several members in the hospital and/or at home recovering for a horrible bus accident in Atlanta on Thursday afternoon. They were on their way to the airport in Atlanta headed on a mission trip to Botswana, Africa, when the bus was cut off and over turned. We still have 3-4 people in critical at the hospital and a few others listed as stable but still in hospital also. The rest, about 30 people are back home in Huntsville, AL but are still recovering from injuries sustained in the wreck. Please pray for the family of the young lady who died in the wreck as well as the family of Mount Zion Baptist Church that God will provide comfort and healing for everyone.


Thanks for joining me in prayer... for comfort, strength and peace for this family and the loss of their child. Pray God's grace and compassion over this church family and the community-at-large. Pray for healing for those still at the hospital and at home, in physical and emotional recovery. In the sovereignty of God, may His plans and purposes be accomplished through this tragedy and the lives of those involved.
